In fact maybe someday you'll have a nice thought provoking humorous novel to publish. Crying real tears,...Beautiful, and very well said. Crying real tears, then read the part about gun ownership and laughed a little, then started right up crying again. My mom called me that morning because I was still sleeping with 2.5 year old daughter (lazy me) next to me feeling all safe and warm, then within 20 minutes I was so worried about Vin being in a prominent building in Detroit. They let people go home so we rushed off to Madonna and prayed a Rosary at the outdoor grotto there, then got some Chinese food, and just cried most of the evening. It was so hard to accept the reality of it, it still is. Thanks, I never even heard that song, but I do like Alan Jackson. -LorettaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4594309663245056030.post-48324856359858788412011-08-23T20:15:41.255-04:002011-08-23T20:15:41.255-04:00I have the pans, the skills, and (more importantly...I have the pans, the skills, and (more importantly) the time to make this. I paid a lady on Etsy for her invitation design. She just plugged in my particulars and emailed me the jpg. Then I had them printed at the Office Supply store in town. I did "design" the back but it's not nearly as cute as the front. I do have one in a frame, 'cause I love it so much.

I would love to have your 12 year old help my 12 year old run the Duck Pond game, if she's interested!VillageJenhttp://ourvillagelife.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4594309663245056030.post-68236458172649226622011-08-11T23:14:58.606-04:002011-08-11T23:14:58.606-04:00I admit, I was completely impressed with your invi...I admit, I was completely impressed with your invitations, from the gorgeous colors to the font you used to the tiny MAGNETS you attached to the back so I can post it on the fridge... we are eagerly looking forward to the party and if you need help give a shout I have a very eager 12 year old who loves to help, LorettaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4594309663245056030.post-69678437534299999122011-08-07T11:40:06.486-04:002011-08-07T11:40:06.486-04:00ah yes, if we only knew then what we know now...bu...ah yes, if we only knew then what we know now...but we wouldn't be who we are without that pain either.

Welcome to St. Blogs. One good thing about struggling thru our teen years (and still remembering enough of it) is that we can share insights with our own children, of course whether or not they listen is in God's hands. Thanks, I needed this tonight there was a lot of sweating the little stuff going on here. -LorettaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4594309663245056030.post-22400955133666999392011-07-20T12:50:17.117-04:002011-07-20T12:50:17.117-04:00Loretta, believe it or not, a couple of years ago ...Loretta, believe it or not, a couple of years ago I applied for (and got) a part-time job at Target. I had to have a drug test that day and that required my actual social security card. I had no idea where it was hiding, so I was frozen out of working there for some period of time. I got pregnant instead.VillageJenhttp://ourvillagelife.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4594309663245056030.post-25989907355911554122011-07-20T08:31:04.416-04:002011-07-20T08:31:04.416-04:00Totally agree! I may look into a work-at-home opportunity to fill in my free time with (once I find some free time). He actually doesn't mind the drive time though, he gets a lot of books on CD from the library and it helps that he traded in the old mini van for a 37 mpg Ford. -LorettaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
